REALISE YOUR POTENTIAL KUBOTA DEALER APPRENTICESHIP Looking to develop a career in engineering or parts? The Kubota Dealer Apprenticeship Programme is designed to enable engineer and parts apprentices to progress into positions within Kubota dealerships across the UK, combining on-the-job experience with industry-leading training.

During your apprenticeship you will be eligible for LTA1 membership. On completion of the Level 3 apprenticeship, and some additional Kubota training, you will be able to progress through the tiers to eventually attain LTA4 Master Technician accreditation.

A Kubota Apprenticeship Scheme is a partnership between Kubota and Coleg Cambria Llysfasi. This industry approved training content is designed to allow young agricultural engineers to progress into positions within Kubota dealerships across the UK.

 

COURSE INFORMATION

Level 3, City & Guilds, Advanced Technical Extended Diploma in Land-based Engineering – Agriculture

Equivalent to 3 A levels, course modules are varied including a wide range of information from Health and Safety, the repair of a range of agricultural machinery, workshop practices, engines, electronic, hydraulic and transmission systems. The course is delivered both theory and practically in our industry standard workshops.

 

COURSE LENGTH

48 months – with approximately 36 weeks in college on a block release system.

The first 3 years will be delivered at Coleg Cambria Llysfasi near Ruthin, North Wales. Following this course continual technical training will be delivered at Kubota’s training centre. The final award will lead to the full Kubota Diploma in Agricultural Engineering.

Entry requirements

Level 2 Diploma in Agricultural Engineering at High Merit/Distinction.

OR

5 GCSE’s at grade 4 or C’s in English and Maths + 3 other. Students with grade D in English and / or Maths would be considered depending on grade profiles, practical experience and the successful completion of a level 2 test in English and Maths.

 

QUALIFICATIONS GAINED

You will receive a range of qualifications as part of your learning programme. These include:

  • Level 3 Technical Advanced Extended Diploma in Land-based Engineering
  • Essential skills in Numeracy, Literacy and IT
  • Additional non / legislative qualifications ie. telescopic handler, abrasive wheels and welding etc
